Grief Healing… ease depression

 

Like the seasonal changes in nature we go through our own cycle of change and transformation, death and re-birth.

There is a time for light and there is a time for darkness.

A time for joy and a time to grieve.

Everything in its place!

 

Grief is a response that is giving us information, yet we have been conditioned away from our natural responses. Within our modern societies there is a great reverence for just being strong and pushing through, hence many people have unlearned to feel.

 

Grief is a part of life.

She is here to teach us and initiate us.

 

Grieving within Society

In general, there is not much space for grief, and big shows of emotions are not really appreciated. Our modern world prohibits these wild, feminine, mystical states: The heights of ecstasy, wildness and pleasure, and the lows of grief, mourning, shadow, transformation, and deep emotion.

Yet, we are designed to keep flowing between these states.

Grief is ultimately about change and transformation.

Every negative feeling in the world has grief at its core and even positive events can be touched by grief. However, we can live through these feelings through the gift of grief.

It takes us into stillness and silence and brings us closer to mystical states.

It takes us into attunement with the feminine dimension, but it can also make us feel isolated and disconnected. Hence, grief is complex and a dimension of being.

 
 

Grief of the Heart and Grief of the Womb

 Heart grief can often include sudden loss, shock, betrayal, feelings of aloneness, sorrow, fear, numbness, panic, throat clamping.

> Heart grief is often personal, connected to love, change, safety.

 

 

Womb grief can often include sexual grief, grief around earlier experiences of body/sensuality, pregnancy, birth, rage, disassociation.

> Womb grief can often be deeply buried and express somatically. It can often be ancestral, grief you’re holding from past generations that has been passed down the lineage.

 

Elemental Wheel of Grief

Grief is elemental and when we are in it we spiral through different stages.

Grief ebbs and flows and upon completion of one cycle we may return back to it and spiral even deeper.

 

Grief Magic

The elder cultures believed that grief was a form of medicine and transformation that could open doors where there were none and switch dimensions.

Even though grief can often feel like a dead end and make us feel powerless, once we recognize its immense power, we can shift the quantum field.

This is when a door opens and we go from the trajectory we were on to a different one — and this is how we shift timelines.

Grief Release Practices

  • Movement: Allowing yourself to express and move your feelings through free body movement. This can also include free sounding, allowing your voice to open and release stuck feeling and emotions though sound.

  • Stream of Conscioussness Writing: Try automatic or ‘channeled’ writing, simply allowing words and messages to flow through you into your journal.
